Mommy Bootcamps/Personal Training
Created Oct 23, 2008
Hi moms... I'm a NASM Certified personal trainer and a part-time nanny. I love exercise, I love the outdoors and I love my work as a nanny and its great to wake every day loving what you do, being a nanny I have moms telling me how they would love to get an hour of exercise in but between juggling jobs and childcare and 24/7 round the clock job of motherhood its hard to fit it all in. I'm in the middle of trying to decide what path to follow when it comes to my personal training and I think I would like to offer a mommy bootcamp, limited to 4-5 moms a class for a duration of 1 hr Join This Group »

SF North Beach Pool Saturday Baby Swim
Created Jul 10, 2008
The North Beach Pool in SF is the warmest city pool because the pool receives funds to maintain water tempertures for disability access. This means baby won't be shivering in the water! Meet on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 at 651 Lombard btw Mason & Powell. This baby swim is organized like a rec swim (no instruction), just fun in the water with babies and parents! They have duckies and floaties and other parents give you ideas of movements to do wtih the babies. Stollers can be parked on the deck, so no need for a lock, though there are lockers, too. Typically between 5 and 10 children attend each session. Afterwards, there is a park nearby at Colulmbus for free play! Age range is about 6 months and up. Phone the pool and ask about "Prescchool Swim" at 415-391-0407. SEE YOU THERE FOR DROP IN SWIM! All baby needs is a swim diaper, which can be purchased at City Kids, for one! Cost is only 5 dollars per Sat. Join This Group »
