Is Depression During Pregnancy Linked To Later Teenage Aggression?

A new, British study [ http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35257279/ns/health-pregnancy/ ] was recently released that showed a possible link between a woman's depression during pregnancy and later teenage aggression in her children. Although it is vitally important to continually research the subject of pre and postnatal depression [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JOm9NMFOXI ], I am critical of this particular study.

Orgasmic Birth

I recently viewed a film called “Orgasmic Birth”. In it several women discuss the “bliss and ecstasy” that they felt during their “natural" childbirth experiences. Other “experts” discuss, rather clinically, how this occurs. In having attended over 3000 births, in hospitals, birth centers, homes, bathtubs, hammocks, on the floor, in beds, pick up trucks and more, I have never had a woman tell me she experienced an orgasm during her birth. Intense sensations and emotions? Yes. Loud, verbal expressions, often similar to what a woman might express during an orgasm? Yes. Incredible wonder, amazement and bliss? Yes. An actual sexual, toe curling, “oh my god” orgasm? No.
