Cord Blood Donation to a Public Bank
Does anyone know anything about donating baby's cord blood to a public bank when I deliver at CPMC? I'm not finding easy information on this so far. I'm wondering if anyone out there has done it.

No car - getting to/from CPMC
Hi:
I am due in July and I've started to think about how I'm getting to/from the hospital. My husband does not drive and we don't have a car and I'm concerned that my brother-in-law might not be able to bring us so I wanted to look for alternative transportation options just in case. Can anyone suggest a cab or transportation company that we could use to get us to/from CPMC- Nob Hill? I know that taxi drivers probably don't want to have to drive pregnant ladies to the hospital.
Thanks!
anyone else due in summer and want to form a support group?
We are expecting our first child in July 2010, live in Potrero Hill and looking to meet other moms and dads in the Mission/Potrero Hill/anywhere in the City who are expecting and would like to meet up to swap stories, tips, support one another and generally get to know each other! If you are interested shoot me an email through this forum.
