CVS in San Fran
Curious about other people's experiences....I can't believe that I'm even typing these words, but I had a wonderful experience with my CVS - Dr. Rand at UCSF - he's awesome. Great bedside manner, super friendly, confident, made it so bearable for me and talked me through it. He came highly recommended by several friends and they were right on. Wondering if everyone has easy CVS's, who else is great, other thoughts. I'm so pleased! :-)

Mercury and Pregancy
Posted by the American Pregnancy Association.
The NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) has compiled a list of fish used in sushi and their levels of mercury.
Eating fish that is cooked can help reduce the risk of exposure to certain bacteria. Eating fish that is not on the "high" mercury list is also a way to eat fish safely. There are 4 types of fish that pregnant women should avoid.
Extras Needed!! Tues, Sept 30th @ 1pm For the View from the Bay
Greetings!
Maternity Xchange is going to be on the View from the Bay and we need pregnant & nursing "shoppers" for the filming. We'll be setting up a mini sale with jeans, nursing wear (tops & dresses), work attire, tops and other items depending on our stock (dresses, jackets, skirts, pants, etc). Filming will take place at Natural Resources in San Francisco (a great pregnancy & early parenting resource center) on Tuesday, September 30th @ 1pm.
Instant Maternity Shirts
This one is for all the beautiful ever-expanding bellies out there!
Although very common in European countries, maternity sashays have just been recently introduced to the United States. Brought to America by Dutch designer, Saskia Charbonneau, the sashay is made to go over your pre-maternity wardrobe, not under it like other belly bands that we've seen.
Whether you want to give an old, tired maternity outfit a fresh look, or you want to wear your pre-maternity clothes longer, the Sashay will come in handy! It also serves as a trendy belly cover-up after pregnancy, while breastfeeding!
