New event website for SF families
This interactive site has tens of thousands of family activities for kids here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The goal was not only to provide one place for moms/dads to
look for what's out there, but to quickly narrow down the options and find
just the right one.
Check out the filters and the breathtakingly easy-to-use calendar view -- it's like the kayak.com of kid activities. Oh, and then you can sign in with one click and your Facebook credentials to post your plans to your Wall.
Our target city for launch is San Francisco, but we've already started
expanding to the Bay Area due to requests from our pilot moms and
businesses. There's nothing to stop us from adding Prenatal Yoga in San
Diego, Free Museum Day in D.C., or Mommy & Me Fly-Fishing in Bozeman.
Please pass this along to anyone in your network who has kids, who knows
people who have kids, or who was ever a kid themselves.

Listen to lively storytelling in the galleries, watch a video or performance, or create a piece of original artwork—these are just a few of the entertaining activities the whole family can enjoy. So bring the kids and have some fun learning about art!

Classes for baby
I would love to know of a good place you can recommend for classes. My baby is 4 mos old and we live in the Richmond District. I went to Gymboree once and Kindermusik, any other ideas? Looking for interactive class. Thanks!
San Francisco Recreation and Parks Fall Registration

If you want to enroll your child into a San Francisco Recreation and Parks class and don’t yet have a Family Account yet with SF Rec & Park, tomorrow is one of the few days when it’s relatively easy to do it. See, instead of having to drag a bunch of xeroxed documents down to McLaren Lodge in Golden Gate Park during working hours, you can drag those same documents to one of SF Rec’s temporary registration locations on a Saturday or evening. Still not fun, but easier than taking time off work.
Here’s what you have to bring, according to SF Rec:
